'Shaka Rock' is the third studio album from Australian rockers Jet and it has been co-produced by themselves and Chris "Frenchie" Smith who has also worked with Dandy Warhols and The Datsuns. Jet's debut album 'Get Born' was released in 2003 and It sold well over 2 million copies worldwide and it spawned 6 top 40 UK hit singles with the most successful being 'Are You Gonna Be My Girl' which peaked at 16. The band's second album 'Shine On' was released 3 years later and although it went higher in the charts than its predecessor is sold a lot less copies.
